The design process is derived from finding solutions over the years when we experience and frustration with issues in our own tanks. The thought process goes through many iterations before we make our creations to safeguard and grow our aquarium inhabitants.
The process begins by gathering both aragonite and binders. We mix the binder into the aragonite and begin shaping the mixture into our various products by hand. Adding in air pockets significantly increases the area for beneficial bacterial in our rock and shape creations.
In order to maintain quality, we inspect each finished product both before and after our 30 day curing process. After the 30 day curing process, the freshwater has nullified any harmful effects of the Portland cement and we are left with the finished product.
